Frostheim at Warcraft Hunters Union: Balthazar and I have just launched a kickstarter for more original hunter songs! Our ultimate goal is to be able to put together an entire hunter music album, Hunter Fuel.
As most of you know, Balthazar is the musical talent behind the I’m a Hunter song, as well as I Won’t Miss You. I write the lyrics, and Balthazar does the magic. Unfortunately it’s been hard to be able to do more of them: Balthazar is a professional freelance composer and sound designer. This is what he does for a living. So when he takes the time to do these songs he literally has to turn down paying gigs. And since Balthazar doesn’t even play WoW, that is a big sacrifice to ask and I’m grateful that he’s taken the time to do the two songs for us that he has.
Since releasing I Won’t Miss You I’ve talked to Balthazar about various ideas I’ve had for more songs, but every time he has paid gigs going on and can’t sacrifice the time. Our solution was to start a Kickstarter project. This way we’re putting it in the hands of the hunter community: if it’s worth it for you guys to have us work on more and more hunter music, please consider contributing.
